Martin Rich

Chief executive officer

Martin Rich brings over 40 years of entrepreneurial business experience to Martel Communications. His first business in professional photography started in 1974 in the Boston Area. In 2001 Martin joined Verizon as a Sales Engineer for the then newly established Verizon Online division, responsible for technical support of Internet products.

Upon leaving Verizon in 2009, Martin assumed increasingly challenging Senior Network Design Engineer positions at Cbeyond (now Birch Communications) and EarthLink, followed by Windstream Communications. As Founder of Martel Communications in 2015, he has returned to his entrepreneurial roots.

Niles Pierson

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Niles Pierson brings to Martel a wealth of experience leading managed service organizations in telecommunications. Over a 23-year timespan, he held a number of operations positions of increasing responsibility through a series of mergers and acquisitions with Nortel Communications, NYNEX Meridian Systems, Wiltel Communications, NextiraOne, and Black Box Network Services.

As Martel continues to grow, we are excited to welcome Niles as Chief Operating Officer. In this role he will be responsible for all personnel management, client interface and communication, and customer satisfaction.
